The rescheduling of you appointment is strongly encouraged if:
You have recently travelled overseas within the last 14 days.
You are experiencing any cold or flu symptoms
You have experienced recent fever(s)
The World Health Organisation’s standard infection control measures are as follows:
Frequently clean hands by using soap and water or alcohol based hand rub.
Covering mouth and nose with a flexed elbow or tissue when coughing or sneezing, throwing tissue away immediately in a closed bin
Avoid close contact with anyone who has fever and cough
Seek medical care early if you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing ensuring you disclose any travel history with the healthcare provider.
